These are the
Values
by which we live
Vienna House staff take the guest's perspective and act with their hearts and minds! We do things in a simple, down-to-earth manner, and are always seeking new approaches. We apply these with refined dedication and one aim in mind – the enjoyment of our guests!
"This is something I am really good at!"
Vienna House employees know what they're really good at and what they are truly capable of. These are their personal stories and career paths:
-
Marek Palenik, General Manager in Prague is unstoppable:
"2013 I put on my running shoes for the 1st time and I have not stopped running since then. The same year I was promoted to Resident manager and when I managed my first marathon I also became RM of the adjacent hotel.
Since I became General Manager at Vienna House Diplomat Prague I am planning to run my first triathlon, pushing my own limits. What I love most about my job? Working with people, not only guests and suppliers, but especially with my team."
-
A culinary artist, Zdeněk Vinař, head chef at the angelo by Vienna House Prague:
I became a cook because even as a child I liked helping my mother in the kitchen. Although at the beginning, peeling potatoes was one of my rather disagreeable tasks, I continued to advance my career and started my job at Vienna House in 2011.
I can explore my creativity here and invent specialities such as my Bohemian tapas. I appreciate the team spirit, the homelike atmosphere and the simple fact that we can be ourselves.

Zuzana Bednarova, VICTOR Leadership Program graduate loves the “super-hero-feeling” in her daily business:
I call my career at Vienna House my personal love story as I had my first working day on 14th February 5 years ago. After a job at the reception and developing as Front Office Manager I took advantage of the VICTOR Leadership Program to get a wider perspective of the business and was promoted to Operations Manager. Managing to satisfy everyone whom I could help and give advice, makes me happy after a long working day.
