The LandArt route is a 57-kilometre circular route that passes over 70 galleries, traditional craftsmen, museums and exhibitions. There are also many cafés, farm shops, gardens and architectural monuments. One of five regional partial routes runs through Bad Oeynhausen, which is designed as a day tour. At the same time the route through Bad Oeynhausen is ideal for families.
EXPLORE BAD OEYNHAUSEN
Located in the Paul Baehr Villa in the Kurpark gardens, the Deutsches Märchen- und Wesersagenmuseum is devoted to German fairy tales and local folklore. The Marta Museum in Herford is a piece of modern sculpture in its own right. And the saline springs that are one of the region's most valuable natural resources can be seen at the Aqua Magica park.
OUT AND ABOUT IN BAD OEYNHAUSEN
The pleasant spa climate of Bad Oeynhausen is well suited to sports and activities such as jogging, nordic walking and hiking, for which the specially designated walking trail is ideal. Those on two wheels have a choice between cycling tours of the town or riding along the water's edge. Golfing and horseback riding are equally popular pursuits.
- From Bad Oeynhausen station:
The intercity station (ICE-Bahnhof) is about 2.5 km from the hotel. There is a taxi rank outside the station. Head east towards Bahnhofstraße and take a sharp left onto Herforder Straße. After about 100 m turn left into Klosterstrasse and follow it until it becomes Strasse Ostkorso. Stay on Strasse Ostkorso until it becomes Morsbachallee, then stay on Morsbachallee until you reach the hotel.

- From Hannover airport:
Take the A2 towards Dortmund and take the Bad Oeynhausen exit. In Bad Oeynhausen follow the signs for Kurgebiet (spa area) towards the south of the town and then turn into Morsbachallee. The hotel is on the right.

- Coming from the south:
On the A2 heading north, take the Bad Oeynhausen exit. In Bad Oeynhausen follow the signs for Kurgebiet (spa area) towards the south of the town and then turn into Morsbachallee. The hotel is on the right.
- Coming from the north:
On the A2 heading south, take the Exter exit. On the roundabout take the third exit towards Bad Oeynhausen. Follow the road for 4 km until you reach the hotel on the right-hand side.
The hotel's underground car park has 80 parking spaces. Parking costs EUR 6 per day. Please follow the signs "Vienna House Easy" in the garage and be aware that you only have unlimited access in the dedicated hotel area.
