Christmas and New Year "by the fireside" at the Vienna House Magic Circus Paris

The Chef offers two options for these celebration dinners: an à la carte party menu at the Bar des Artistes and an all-you-can-eat buffet at L'Étoile.

The Bar des Artistes menu starts with marinated salmon with pink peppercorns, foie gras or confit vegetables in basil pesto. For the main course, choose from fillet of sea bream, veal medallion or fresh tagliatelle with truffles. The evening concludes with a log (crispy hazelnut chocolate or caramelised apple vanilla ice cream) or a secret dessert with lime and white chocolate.
The buffet in L'Étoile begins with a selection of starters: duck foie gras, marinated salmon with pink peppercorns, seafood cascade (langoustines, pink shrimp, whelks, crabs and oysters), lobster bisque, and citrus-flavoured lobster tartare served in a glass. For the main course, what a pleasure it is not to have to choose between sliced glazed ham on the bone, duck breast Périgourd style, sea bream fillet à la plancha and cod loin - we might as well try everything.

For dessert, a log with red berries or chocolate, a carrot cake, a banana cake with dulce de leche and honey cheesecake will delight the choosiest diners. "And throughout the dinner on Christmas Eve, children can meet Santa Claus in his mountain cottage and enjoy the performances of a magician and cartoonist," adds Rodolphe Jousset, the hotel's catering manager.
