If you were to express the music of Johann Sebastian Bach in a feeling, then perhaps it would be the wonderful sense of reassurance you get when you listen to his works. But you don’t have to be a fan of the baroque composer to feel at home at the Vienna Townhouse Bach in Leipzig. The renaissance-era building, which is part of the boutique hotel, is in the city centre and is the oldest townhouse in Leipzig. The new rear building looks out onto the garden. Here you can find the rooms and apartments – the cosy restaurant with a summer terrace is in the historical building part, across from Thomaskirche and Bach statue.
